Praise the Lord Henson Valley!
We as a congregation are in the early stages of ministry transformation here at Henson Valley. Change is scary because it takes us out of the usual into the unusual. I John 3:2 (New International Version) declare, “Dear friends, now we are the children of God, and what we will be has not yet been made known. But we know that when Christ appears, we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is. The comfort of ministry is being challenged by our desire to become the Disciples that God has called us out to be.
The All Church Retreat was an awesome experience of congregants reading and discussing Matthew 10.
We identified the “Marks” of a Disciple. We extracted the Implications of the Meaning of the “Marks” of a Disciple for HVCC with special attention to:
* Worship and Mission
And we ended the day memorializing goals (copies can be found in the Narthex) that will be addressed with:
* Immediate Attention
I believe God is stirring up the gifts in all of us to become the Disciple makers that are equipped to build a Kingdom focused church. #CHANGE IS HAPPENING @HVCC.
See you in church,
